JCCBI announces the mobilization of its long-term works in the Bonaventure sector starting the first week of March:

 

CLÉMENT BRIDGE SECTOR
From March 3 to 15

  • 1 lane open in each direction

From March 15 until Fall 2026

  • 2 lanes open toward Samuel De Champlain Bridge (Exit 5 “Île des Sœurs » open)
  • 1 lane open toward downtown (access to the Expy from Île des Soeurs open)

 

ELEVATED LANES SECTOR (between Victoria bridge and Wellington St.)
From March 6 until May 2026

  • 2 out of 3 lanes open in each direction

Long-term hindrance (2026)

  • Closure of the Exit 3 of the Expy. toward Samuel De Champalin Bridge

 

GAÉTAN LABERGE BOULEVARD SECTOR
Long-term hindrance (2026)

  • 1 lane open in each direction

 

LANES SECTOR BETWEEN VICTORIA BRIDGE AND CLÉMENT BRIDGE
Long-term hindrances (2026)

  • 2 out of 3 lanes open toward Samuel De Champlain Bridge
  • 3 lanes open toward downtown (possible exceptions depending on works)
  • Please note: Expressway reconfiguration work requires certain changes to the lane configuration. Drive carefully and respect traffic signs.

 

To keep the Bonaventure Expressway open most of the time and maximize your travel time, we strive to carry out major works at night.
