JCCBI would like to inform active mobility users that the winter operation period will go into effect as of 10:30 p.m. on Monday, December 19. The multipurpose path will then be open daily from 5:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Note that the sidewalk will be closed this season due to low use over the past two years of winter operation. 

If a temporary closure is necessary due to maintenance or bad weather, you will receive an email alert with information that will also be posted to our active mobility Twitter account. 

• You will receive a message through the same tools (email and Twitter account) to inform you of reopenings. 
• When you are on the multipurpose path, variable message signs can be consulted at the entrances to inform you of the path’s status in real time. 

During the winter season, active mobility communications are only via: 

• Our Twitter account @mobiliteactive.
• Our email alerts
